Roald Dahl Day

On Thursday, the whole school had a great day celebrating the birth of Roald Dahl, one of the greatest Children’s authors of all time. Many children (and teachers) came dressed up as their favourite character and there were lots of fun activities throughout the day. Both KS1 and KS2 enjoyed the ‘round robin reading’ where teachers spent

three minutes in each class reading part of a book, before moving on to the next class. Year 1 and 2 teachers read ‘The Enormous Crocodile’ and Year 3, 4, 5 and 6 teachers read ‘Esio Trot.’ Look out for photos of this on the screen outside.
