West End in Schools- Pantomime

9 Jan 2018

We were very excited to have a theatre group visit our school to perform on Wednesday.  This pantomime group performed 'Jack and the Beanstalk' to EYFS/KS1 and 'Cinderella' to KS2.

Their shows are highly creative learning experiences- which children will remember for ever!

Hear are some comments from the children in KS1 on watching Jack and the Beanstalk:

David 1R– It was really good. My favourite part was then they tickled the cow and out came a chicken.

Rino 1R– I liked it when the girl saved the cow. It was fun.

Chiho 1G– It was exciting.

Mimi 1G– I liked joining in and saying cool beans

Hear are some comments from the children in KS2 on watching Cinderella:

I think it was the best.  It was so funny and they were very good at singing and acting and everything!  Rawaida- year 5

I think that the panto was spectular!  I loved the part when they acted as a ghost and scared us.  I'm speechless. Khursid

It was amazing, I can't wait for another one. Kayden

I think the panto was brilliant and there are no words to describe how good it was.  Hayfa.

I think that the pantomime was amazing and unique because it always adds a twist and the actors didn't care if they were a girl or a boy.  Tasmin.

I never watched a panto before, but this one blew my mind away.  I loved it! Ali K
